Exactly. Not to mention that this redesign requires the scrapping of pretty much all existing assets. That's a lot of graphic design work for hundreds of thousands of movies and people for this redesign to actually be meaningfully comprehensive.
One time I tried climbing this rock face pretty casually and as I reached for a hold I noticed a whip scorpion or something like it right next to my hand. Then, I noticed they were pretty much all around the crevices. Yeah... [insert nope meme here].
I'm assuming that you needlessly self-censored the word "breasts", because otherwise the first thing that comes to mind for me is "bitches of the Indian maiden," which although sounding badass, makes no sense.
Internet journalism. Never believe hyperbolic adjectives used in blog headlines, or at least take them with a grain of salt. It's not Casey's fault—I'm sure he's told to shoehorn certain words into his articles by his web analysts for maximum exposure.
Jesus, so it just holds the prey in front of it and watches it die. That's sinister.
I felt the same way. The need to add sound effects to the spaceship and to show the asteroid belt in the same way that Star Wars showed an asteroid field definitely seemed purposed to excite viewers rather than to educate them. Anything that will get people excited about science and/or astronomy is a great thing,…
Wait, this is a photo? This cannot be a photo—it's too incredible.
I think America has a terrible education system, and yet it's pretty high up there as far as living standards and average per capita income goes. How do you think Russia fares in comparison?
To be fair, most of us sit on the other end of the spectrum, laying in bed or sitting in a chair for 95% of the day.
Yeah, I mean technically it was really cool and interesting, and I was entertained. But I would never, ever listen to just the audio track here. That said, she's really talented and I'm guessing she has or will have better original work that's more suited to her skills and voice.
I just came here to say that I understand you're not coming from a hateful place or anything like that. However, your dismissal of courage and sticking to principles as naivete is a little sad. People who defend the Constitution and beliefs of the Declaration of Independence despite the negative consequences to…
I guess the new Sherlock Holmes (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) thought the same thing—in the show he reasons that it's trivial knowledge anyway.
Not for adults... and I can't believe more than 1 out of every 4 adults are obese. That's insane.
Yeah, but for example in America we have the Common Core standards (nevermind the efficacy of it), whereas no such thing exists in the European Union. Keep in mind that the EU is not a country...
Actually I did, but somehow I ended up referencing Romania anyway. I was going to mention Latvia instead, but figured that for the average American they're simply interchangeable 2nd world countries anyway.
I'd say it's unfair to lump the entire EU together. If they surveyed Germany separately from Romania for example, I'm sure you'd see some pretty interesting figures.
This is satire, right? Please tell me you're a writer for The Onion.
No one likes "nanny state BS", but whether it's warning labels (which is facepalm-worthy) or something else, something needs to be done to battle obesity in the country as well as the overwhelming notion that soda and other sugary drinks are a reasonable substitute for water.
I'm pretty sure this isolated animated GIF would be banned in more conservative countries! How sordid.
