She's seen much more as her legendary/notorious father's kin than as a woman, so it really doesn't count. They would never elect a woman as president in any other scenario. Unfortunately, you can look at the state of sexism in the Korean workplace for evidence.

You know how Italians are fiercely proud of their culture and heritage, right? Now, imagine Germany coming in, subjugating Italians and trying to erase their culture. That is what Japan did to Korea. It may be old news to you, but it was within the time of our grandparents, which makes it relevant. The kids

Nevada comes from Spanish... so I think the outside-of-state pronunciation is completely valid. But living close to Vallejo (Vuh-LAY-ho) and San Rafael (San Ruh-FOWL), California, I sympathize with having a butchered official pronunciation.

Maybe for the same reason that Brett Favre's last name is pronounced "Farve". The American mind just produces a "does not compute" error when trying to parse the sequence of letters...

No one actually says "fort", right? ...Right? I really can't imagine someone saying it like that with a straight face.

It's not "Gang Num" Style—pronounced correctly, it's much closer as "Gong Nom" Style. The American "a" sound is too similar to the most annoying sound in the world (Dumb and Dumber), rather than the Spanish "a", which would be most accurate of all.

Or he can do his usual thing and kill everyone in the building and take the woman in the last room as his. D:

Erm... that's Oakland.

I'm sure we'd see the same thing elsewhere if dashcams were mandated by insurance companies. Since we don't, we aren't privy to the multitude of disasters that occur everyday on the roads.

Koreans are too sensitive. On the plus-side, they're great at producing dramas. :P

I was thinking as well—perhaps donators should have been asked if they wanted some of their money back because more than enough had been given. Nevertheless, better to read a news story like this than something that makes humans look like terrible beings, as is the usual.

Yeah... you know what other reports come out of South Korea? A tablespoon of sesame oil will increase your lifespan by years! A steady diet of kimchi cures cancer. Eating kiwis while standing on one leg will magnify your wang, even if you don't have one.

yah ur rite dood....... i thot it wuz miley cyrus..... get over urself ellen page u suk...

Outside of appealing to the lonely female-attracted audience, I'm not sure what the point of this format was if it wasn't going to be taken seriously, and if wasn't at least going to be Comedy Gold. Do people outside of the aforementioned audience actually appreciate nonchalant silliness for silliness's sake?

Oh, I just figured that the term "non-issue" indicates a positive/negative impact on something. If something is an issue, it's a problem, isn't it? I guess it could be neutral, but typically it's not.

Why the "eye fucking roll"? Do you think video for the masses via YouTube is threatening the end of Hollywood? Not everything is a zero sum game. Maybe smartphone gaming will take off, but there's nothing that says that it has to happen to the detriment of console gaming.

That's definitely an interesting way to put it. Soccer has its better aspects too: wider range of passing and shooting techniques. Can't really think of anything besides that though...

I know what you mean, but you should distinguish between purposely unrealistic (or poorly executed) HDR processing versus realistic HDR imaging meant to simulate human vision. The latter is far more subtle, I think.

Haha, fair enough. Personally though, I wonder if playing the sport helps with the perception of speed. Professional soccer is lightning fast (as with all other professional-level sports), but you only realize it after playing it yourself, I think. Maybe not gliding-on-ice-within-a-small-rink sort of fast, but

You should try searching Youtube for soccer injuries as well, which would demonstrate that there is definitely a physical aspect to the sport. No missing teeth or anything, but certainly more leg bones being snapped in half and poking out of the socks than you'd care to witness. Obviously not as much violence as in
