Yeah, my Scion is at nearly 200,000. Mostly highway miles. Bought it at 140,000 for like $4k. Had some exhaust work done and regular maintenance. I think how a car is driven is far more important than how far.

My friend just dumped her MDX after repairing the transmission twice... FWIW

I prefer the Ferrari 348tb... in cocaine white...

Your Morgan was made with wood too. Truly the ultimate Jalop.

It started happening on Hondas as soon as they put in dash displays that were always lit. In town, where there are streetlamps, the difference in brightness between the DRLs and the low beams isn’t super obvious.

That, and the fact that a lot of modern vehicles have a dashboard indicator for:
-DRLs
-Headlamps
-High beams
And they’re all shaped basically the same. Now combine that with the level of interest of the average Honda CRV buyer, and you have a recipe for my fury.

I actually feel the opposite. I have no issue driving with traditional headlights, the only issues I encounter are being blinded by other cars on the road with aircraft spotlights, and the incredible amount of glare that all of the LCD displays inside of modern cars produce.

That’s why I didn’t buy a Chiron as well. All the blurb tells me it will empty its tank in 15 minutes or so. I bought a car I can drive for a couple of weeks between stops instead! I’ll give those Bugatti driving morons a friendly honk as I pass by them at the gas station!

Exactly. I don’t think I’ve ever once toggled the driver info dash to even see what my 911 mpg is but it handles nice and makes a nice noise. Ha!

“Well I was just swapping my front end and I found some parts white but last part to find was a HD hood and I found one but it was yellow and there’s a page here in our state where there’s a lot of parts for sale and trade so I was just hoping I found the owner of a white HD hood that would wanna trade and well that

The Taycan’s mission will be to convert current Panamera owners to EVs. I don’t know why your getting all up in your own feelings over that. They were just being competitive with Tesla and not talking trash. It was Elon who not only talked his smack at the Taycan, but also went after the Taycan on the Nurburgring.

The most important metric for a Taycan buyer is range?  Do you hear 911 owners complain about MPG? I think you’re missing the point.

With what? CA needs at least 100 GW-hours of storage to make this work... or roughly 1000 of “The Largest Battery Farms Ever Built to Date”.

Hey honey, remember that time last year I had to go to Lowe’s to get a bag of dirt for the plants on the balcony? Well it’s truck month and I can get a great deal on an F-250 right now.

But 69mpge vs 98mpge seems like a huge delta.

(the average person isn’t hitting 155 MPH 20 times in a row on their way to work)

I always feel bad when I see a car show and they say “I got a call from this lady who says she has a 1965 Ferrari. She doesnt know much about it as it was her late husbands but she is moving to a retirement community and doesnt need to keep onto it” and when they show up its very straight and rust free ‘65 275 GTB

I’m not even a Tesla fanboi and still subscribe to this take.

It only matters when the person selling said vehicle is marketing the vehicle as being better than ICE. If it was being marketing accordingly, people wouldn’t be calling it out non-stop.

Then go with the rocket option, stages.
