Minis were getting too reliable.

But I can’t have a plastic straw.  Mmmkay.

That’s hilarious.  The party that “fixed” healthcare now has all their candidates up on stage claiming “it’s terribly broken” and only they can fix the system they broke.

Maybe an unpopular opinion here, but the highways are because people need access to a huge number of new homes, because of the huge number of new families, because of the massive population growth. The US population has grown almost 20% in the past 20 years.

Counterpoint: How many of those drivers are illegals here due to Los Angeles Sanctuary City policies? The state has issued well over a million licenses to people that aren’t supposed to be here. That’s a million more cars on the roads spewing emissions, taking up space, and wasting fuel resources.

Fourth way: Torch it in a field at midnight at claim on the insurance.

Having seen the mess the Experian deal has created for millions of people— There probably DOES need to be a serious Third Way Movement.

I mean, it’s in the lease contract. You pay the fees for the overages (in one way or another) or you buy out the car.

True, but some options are better than others when dealing with breaking said terms. Also, they didn’t really break any terms. The contract has a stated penalty if you go over miles. That’s in the contract. Everything is a negotiation. Seems to me, if you buy the car at the end of the lease, any penalty for miles over

Found the guy Torch was talking about getting emails from

The Tesla had both an AARP and AAA sticker on the rear bumper so they didn’t have to pay for the tow.  Driver called on his Jitterbug phone and a truck arrived within thirty minutes.

A 2-year old 100D isn’t a bad yardstick.

There are 18 variants of the Panamera now. There are 2 of the Taycan at launch. I’d say wait a few years and you’ll probably have a P100D fighter.

Or-follow me here-they could offer a turbo version AND a non turbo version. No?

To me it also depends on throttle mapping. When it comes to feel, I find that remapping the throttle to be linear is as important as the turbo vs. non-turbo debate. I’d potentially choose the feel of a turbo with a linear throttle vs. NA with 90% of the throttle opening being in the first couple inches of pedal

I would like California to decide what cars I can buy because I too stupid to buy a car I can afford to fill up with gas.

This is flat-out bad argumentation and I suspect you know why. There aren’t CARB-compliant and non-CARB compliant variants of vehicles anymore (at least not on a wide scale). Manufacturers make them all CARB-compliant and sell that version everywhere. I have no idea whether eliminating CARB restrictions will make

What part of California having a WAIVER do people not understand? California was supposed to follow the same rules all along, but the WAIVER allowed them to set higher standards. If the federal government wants to revoke the WAIVER they have every right to because federal law trumps state law every single time. And to

The only thing that would be good is if all 50 states had the same law/standards. If all the states could work with the EPA and have a set standard, then all of the states would be better off. We need clean emissions and a 50-state standard. Maybe everybody can compromise a bit and be happy, but i don’t see anybody
