This happens to me all the time. I call them serial tailgaters. I don’t even think they realize how annoying it is to the other driver to have somebody driving right on their bumper. I live in Ohio and hate this phenomenon. I set my cruise at 74, somebody takes two minutes to pass me going 75, then they slow down. WHY!?!?! They have to be first right? Is that it? It boggles the mind.

Fairly frequent on the highway in places like Ohio where it’s flat, wide, and people are conscious of their speed. I’ll set cruise control and they play leap frog.

I was exaggerating for sure, but call me when their Max MPH on the highway cycle gets over 60 mph.

The EPA ratings say that the 4cyl is more efficient, and that’s all that matters for regulations.

Oh, I dunno, maybe something that averages more than 43mph for a “highway” test cycle. A vastly outdated cycle.
