I had to go to Youngstown once. It was like I left Ohio and was transferred in some social experiment that failed. It was like one giant section 8 town. No offense to your family but damn... That place could burn down and very few people would care. 

I have 212,000 mile on my Impala. I bought it new in 08 at 0% interest rate. Besides normal maintenance its been trouble free and has never left me stranded. Everything works except the drivers side heated seat which I plan to replace with one from a junkyard or something. Its been a very reliable vehicle. 

This is one of the few things I back the union on 100%. This crap of closing plants here while opening plants in Mexico is short sighted. I find most of the union stuff pretty nice but the $9,000 payment seems to be a bit like buying candy for your kid at the store to get them to stop crying. It sets a bad precedent and shows the unions true motivation which seems to be only concern about themselves and not the future generations of workers.

And think US companies are still building new factories in china. Greed is a powerful motivation.
