I love that you lambast their income statement and balance sheet but somehow claim knowledge of the industry. So where are you getting your earnings from?

OK, let’s shine a little light on a few of these things:

I think this article could have been written about virtually any league other than the NFL and NBA. The MLB is doing fine but is looking down the barrel of an annually aging fanbase. The NHL continues to be a laggard. NASCAR is now shitting the bed. Golf has long since tanked. MLS struggles but persists like some sort

It’s more than that. I don’t think there’s any interest in yet another sport. The NHL, the 4th of 4 leagues, struggles. NASCAR ratings are down. Golf has tanked. MLS barely scrapes along. The US couldn’t give two shits about two of the world’s most popular sports (soccer and F1).

I trust the man on this jersey.

Don’t forget the “I need to tell my husband that I’m so much better now that I won’t cheat on him again like I did 10 years ago! Look at how good a person I am now for, ya know, fulfilling the most basic promise I made to him.”

If it was just Seinfeld, you’d have a point. But the list of comedians who think that the college crowd has gone PC is very, very long.

No, but you’re more replaceable. Sorry.

Why do you think the money would go to the other employees and not to the stockholders? Seems like a silly supposition.

But that doesn’t say he wasn’t offered the release and refused. You’re citing the COC, which is all well and good, but it doesn’t change his narrative one iota.

You’re going to need citation given the number of people who have corroborated the Senator’s POV.

Yea, and boy they are as close as ever to that Utopia. Any minute now... any minute.

You don’t go head to head because you don’t want to create a race to the bottom. If everything was exactly equal except price, you’d just take the lower price. Which makes everyone keep lowering price... which also means they lower costs to try to keep up... which means fewer jobs, less investment...

The guy has been around tennis for almost 40 years. Is there really no way to determine if this is a one-off mistake or if he’s a “closet” racist? Does it really come down to one word uttered?

People don’t refrain from using the word “guerilla” because it’s a homophone. They don’t use it because there’s not much use for it in every day parlance. Where there is a use, however, it is used freely. For example, guerrilla marketing is an often used term, in case you were unaware.

You’re missing the real argument. This is the natural result of political power. One might argue that this shows why you shouldn’t trust political appointees and, perhaps, why there is validity in the arguments for limited government. I’m not saying they are 100% right, but this is the kind of thing that they would

Except the two sports diverged in trends. The NHL has become a less and less scoring league (which is why Ovie is considered a freak with “only” 50 goals per season) while scoring in MLB has increased dramatically (and why everyone is like, “oh yeah, remember when that Sosa guy hit all those dingers? and Griffey and

What book(s) does Season 2 cover? I’ve only read the first and don’t want to spoil the other books because I’ll read them eventually.
