That's even better.

Ahh.. M. Night solving the mystery of what happened to his career. Plot twist: everyone else knows.

Two of the most different endings imaginable.

Jessica Williams could replace him. Sure it would take a little getting used to, but I think it's the obvious choice.

Oh.. ok. So I was alive when Kilborn did it, just far too young to understand it, but it doesn't really sound like I was missing out with him.

Maher's ok, but Stewart's better.

Yeah, I've seen clips of the Bush era stuff, and it looks pretty epic. I don't know much about Kilborn, just that he hosted before Stewart.

He was the first Daily Show host

I wasn't alive when Kilborn was doing it, and I just started watching the Daily Show a year ago, albeit religiously, so you probably know better than I do.

Jon's gonna go down as one of the comedy greats, along with Colbert. They both revolutionized TV news satire, even if Craig Kilborn did it first.

They should remake as many classics as humanly possible with Nicolas Cage as the lead (i.e. Scarface).

Mary Chain shows are kinda notorious for being way too short, and from what I've heard, that hasn't really changed. The Mats, on the other hand, are sober now, so they're probably better live now than they were in the 80s.

To be honest, I'm not a huge 90s fan. Pavement and Sebadoh are cool, but the 80s had (to name a few) The Replacements, Husker Du, and Sonic Youth.

Valentine's Day is no joke…. *cue Vietnam flashback* .. Johnny!!… JOOOHHNNNYYYYYY!!!

Yeah, they don't really have standards.

The chord progression in the beginnings are pretty much exactly the same. In retrospect, they're otherwise pretty different.

Velvet Underground-Herion/John Lennon-Imagine

The Beatles-Sexy Sadie/Radiohead-Karma Police

I think he works best within the confines of a group than as a solo artist, and I stress the word "artist".

Do you like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too "new wave" for my taste, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own.
