In a series that has a severe case of personality shortage, Alonso is a global fucking treasure. Not only is he the best driver on the grid, IMHO, he’s also one of the most entertaining.

That was one of the few times that Niko and Lewis acknowledged each other post-race, much less shook hands.
That track is fantastic with the new surface, although I’m not sold on the baby-blue on the armco (or whatever color that is). It’s nice to watch those cars perform on a circuit where the driver’s filings aren’t getting bounced out of their heads.
That’s true. But (and this isn’t a defense of the NFL), when a football player makes a mistake on the field because of problems directly relating to an earlier concussion, the only person he’s likely going to hurt is himself.
Mastodons loved themselves some SUVs.
In less than 200 years, we have undone the stability of the climate and are now seeing increasing issues with the production of food.
Sure, their mechanicals aren’t the pinnacle of reliability, but fuck, the Italians know design, don’t they?
Junior to Williams, it is then?
I’m not sure I care.
Unbelievable luck coupled with great engineering and construction saved everyone from serious injury. The cabin in that Mustang wasn’t noticeably compromised at all. Amazing.
I never noticed how big some of those curbs are at the Ring. Is it like that all the way around?
Lord, this all makes my head hurt. So, the takeaway is that Cadillac is not (Quixotically) going to take on the Mercedes 550 nor the BMW 7-Series. Makes sense as they have absolutely no way of competing (successfully) with those two products.
When you reach a certain age, you realize that they’re really one in the same. Inside every hot chick is a crazy as fuck chick just waiting her turn.
Unfortunately, my cable company doesn’t carry Univision, only Telemundo (unbelievably).
Note to self: When the machines finally gain consciousness, stay away from the dump trucks.
Agree completely. F1 has demonstrated a comical ineptitide with respect to social media. You want to encourage post-race discussion, not discourage it. Yet, that’s exactly what they’re doing.
NBCSN’s coverage is so poor, it wouldn’t matter if they had a monkey calling the race. I’m not sure I’d even notice. Between the commercials and the announcers being on another continent, how much of an improvement - or difference of any kind - can a single person really make?
This is what happens when you put a great driver in the most dominant car in 30-years.
It’s amazing how fast they can do it now. It must be automated in some way. And, it’s not just YouTube. They’ve already deleted (most of) Streamable’s videos of the incident
That may be true. In fact, let’s stipulate arguendo that it is. But, if you read Riley, the majority makes absolutely no mention of the overt nature of helicopters. It never factored into their decision.
