You lost me when you included Pete Carroll. By all accounts he lost the support of their once vaunted defense, in part, because they had all heard his platitudes about 50 times too many. See: Thomas, Earl middle finger.

For my money, Baseball Simulator 1000 was the best baseball game on SNES. Dusty Diamond All Star Softball on NES is my all time favorite baseball game ever released.

Whenever I hear the Led Zeppelin song “Fool In The Rain” there’s an instrumental break in the second half of the song that features a whistle blowing. It always reminds me of the music from Koopa Troopa Beach and I picture Donkey Kong lobbing banana peals all over God’s creation. Similarly, the band YES have a (awful)

I’ve not read much on it since it was announced but the Switch Lite is set to release in a month for $199. I’m guessing BotW still sells for $60. I’ve had BotW since release and I would estimate that I have played in handheld mode at least 90% of the time so not being able to play on a TV is far from a deal breaker

Speaking of Dodgers:

I share an exact birthday with Tony Romo. (that is not something that brings me pride)

That is correct. +1

Fun fact, Pierre is west of Presho but Pierre is east river, Presho is west river. Though I’m sure I’m telling you nothing you don’t already know.

Was this the Badlands Pawn operation? I remember seeing adds for that place all over KDLT and until just now it hadn’t ocured to me that i hadn’t seen them in quite a while.

The late winter of early 2019 was anything but wimpy in the state capital. Not sure what the state of affairs was on the I-29 corridor.

I have a structured settlement and I NEED cash now...

Honest question: why do you have such a case against SD?

Nope, South Dakota is doing just as it always does. It’s cyclical and the stress on SD ag is due to the two blizzards that hit the state in late winter/early spring. The soil temp was at a lower temp longer than normal, thus the seeds didn’t germinate as early as expected. Spend a lifetime here and you’ll know that

Not until he gets himself a Peppermint Roll.

Sid Luckman? Ever hear of him?

I’ve known a Vette driving Vet for 39 years, my father, who is nearly 73. Sorry if my post came off with a measure of ambiguity.

What would you say to those Vietnam Vets who drive Vettes? If you’d like to belittle one of them directly, I think I can help to oblige your wishes. As it happens, I’ve known a Vette driving Vet for 39 years (point of fact: I’m 39 years old) and he has no trouble with the third pedal.

+1 Fuzzy. At 39 I am a 5-year C7 owner, preceded by 7 years with a C6. The math tells me I had a C6 at age 27 and even then I took umbrage with the tired trope of “Tommy Bahama shirt wearin’” bullshit. My now 72 year old father who lives 5 blocks from me has the second set of keys that he is encouraged to use far more

As the person who wrote the article, is it too much to expect better from you than the tired and unfunny “joke” about the average age of new Vette buyers?

Safe to say you’ve not driven the C7. I can assure you, it is definitely no joke.
