"STOP LIVING IN WAYS I PERSONALLY DISLIKE"
But what you're saying basically backs up what you quoted. The fact that they choose to continue giving airtime to a racist, homophobic bigot (not redundant; I'm sure he's bigoted in other ways, too) for the sake of cash certainly says something about what they value.
I don't think the metric Kotaku used is 'number of people who played it'.
I didn't get to play many new games this year. The Last of Us is one of the few that I did, and I am so, so glad. A genuinely significant game.
Ashley, the currency itself is no less secure than Bitcoin, Litecoin or their cousins. This came about from people placing their trust in a 3rd party online wallet, not placing their trust in a doge-based currency. What you've written is the equivalent of saying people are dumb for placing their trust in a Queen-based…
An online wallet is inherently less secure than a local one. It's a larger target, it's more visible, and depending on the security, easier to hack. Especially considering how young the currency is, it really is a pretty dumb idea to put any money in an online wallet.
It's got nothing to do with the currency itself. They were stolen from an online, 3rd party wallet service who obviously hadn't implemented their security very well. Anyone using a local wallet, as you should, is totally unaffected by this (unless they were expecting currency sent from someone using the online wallet).
So I'll be able to buy mince pies or creme eggs without having to wait for the appropriate artificially constructed holiday?
Talking about griefers makes no sense in the context of this game. "Griefing" is part of the game, similar to Eve Online. If the prospect of being killed by pricks doesn't appeal to you, then this game isn't for you.
I wouldn't say there's something wrong with designers per se, but there are thousands of self-appointed game designers who basically just want to get other people to make a game for them.
I watched Daria for the first time a few months ago, and ended up going through every episode in like a week. It's a really perceptive, hilarious and occasionally poignant show.
Why?
The product.
Are you saying that all blanket statements are stupid?
Oh, sorry. I live in the UK where hunting is basically exclusively for sport, which colours my perception a little.
Personally, I don't kill things for fun.
Out of interest, why are you 'against' marijuana as a recreational drug?
Le Glorious 3rd Edition:
Done, halp pls.
So what you're saying is that I can't get help dealing with my particular problem because people think that someone somewhere else has a worse problem and is therefore more deserving of their money?
