I had a moment of clarity watching Season 3 Episode 1 - in the opening scene Frank pisses on his father's grave and i thought to myself. I could turn this off right now and only be minimally disappointed with how Season 2 wasn't nearly as good as Season 1….

Sure why not

ah i see what you meant. well at least they didn't release a shitty computer version of Battlefront and call it the next version of itself i guess

BattleFront III is scheduled for later this year i believe…

Honestly the majority of Episodes 1 and 2 should have been building the Anakin/ObiWan relationship through fighting in the Clone Wars together (i.e. the cartoon) providing some actual invested emotional interest in seeing them fight at the end of Ep 3. Throw in meeting Padme somewhere near the end of Ep.2 and that's

From my point of view the humans are evil!!!

I agree. That Duel of Fates duel is iconic Star Wars and changed lightsaber duel expectations from then on.

Ya it's really hard to wrap my mind around George Lucas's decision to make Anakin such an unlikable character in Ep. 2. but of course this subject has been beaten to death already. At least Clone Wars did a little to make that better

True but one could make the argument that the person who says that is trying to be manipulative and present the Force as having two equal sides? I don't know really, i'm just thinking about the theory presented above. Maybe the Jedi believe that there is no "light" side and only a perversion of the living Force which

hm that's interesting about the "light side" not being talked about in canon.

well said. i didn't realize it until the end of season 5 of Clone Wars but the Ahsoka/Anakin relationship is so vastly superior than any other Anakin relationship we see in the prequel trilogy.

your feelings serve you well… but be careful, this may not actual turn into a long quote thread

Season 2 is supposed to be later this year… so not too far off!

Very well finished. There were definitely growing pains between episodes 2-5 but it kept getting better and better culminating in this excellent piece of Star Wars. Cant wait for season 2

"you may fire when ready"

I guess the impressive part is that Led Zeppelin could do these songs even better and with only 4 members in their band. It took over 20 kids to do it…

Not a bad episode but definitely one that merely sets up the pieces for the finale. Hera's character is starting to get explored nicely, but Sabine's character is just dying to be fleshed out and be given something to work with.

you have to imagine that it will get spiced up a bit… or just be used for a minimal part of the film… I could just be hoping for all that

Rumor has it that Episode 7 starts on a "grassy terrain planet" so we may have to get used to it…. Lothal? Dantooine?

I couldn't decide if that was a typo or not…
