Years ago, driving to Toronto, Apple Maps directed me to a ferry terminal that had ceased operation some time ago. While a bizarre path, it ended up being a nice trip as we then took back roads rather than the main highway up to our destination.

As another poster has stated, the Apple Maps does a much nicer job for car navigation than Google Maps. And it is likely just my poor eyesight, but I have trouble reading the miniscule print on the Google Map app. But I do use Google when on the computer.

I find the type size on the google maps to be too small for quick viewing when on my phone. While it is my default when on the computer, its my last source when on my phone.
