Honestly I don’t know. I really don’t talk to her much about it but she knows I’m politically active. She’s always been pro choice and I’ve never understood why she voted republican at all. She didn’t vote for Trump, I don’t think she voted. 

You guys, my mom, who has voted republican as long as I can remember, just texted me to tell me she’s voting for Democrats this fall. I’m still not hopeful about it the election, but I feel like at least some of my belligerence has paid off.
