I genuinely think it would be a mistake for Oxlade-Chamberlain to leave. I don't see Liverpool, say, playing him regularly in central midfield.

Yeah, he looks really, really good. I noticed that he's from Guadeloupe. Lacazette's parents are from Guadeloupe. Thierry Henry's father is from Guadeloupe. Ditto, the parents of another erstwhile captain, WIlliam Gallas.

The Europa League should offer some opportunities for some of the younger players. I expect The Jeff and Maitland-Niles will get more opportunities too.

I'm also not entirely convinced that Giroud and Oxlade-Chamberlain will stay.

I'm preparing myself for the worst re: Alexis. I am starting to think he might actually be sold to Man City this summer, especially if Arsenal sign Lemar.

Needless to say, Mbappé >>>>> Alli.

It doesn't seem well-researched, or even well-thought-out. It's almost as though he has only watched the England-based players and has thrown in a few more names that get mentioned a lot on social media. In my opinion, Saúl Ñíguez and Marco Asensio (ahem, not Marcos Asensio) should both be in the top 5.

Yeah, I saw bits of the match. Reiss Nelson was very impressive.

Aside from injury-prone midfielders? Sampdoria apparently want to sign Wilshere for £9m.

Also, if you want a laugh, scroll to the end of this article on the best U23 players:

It's utterly incomprehensible. But Man City do have a history of paying a lot of money for English defenders. They paid more for John Stones than Arsenal did for Alexandre Lacazette.

CAN?

Carrie Coon's performance in The Leftovers was one of my favourite performances on a TV show by anyone, ever. Carrie Coon's performance in Fargo was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

There was no mention of practical dress.

Pirates wouldn't steal cars?

Both countries are, indeed, weird.

That's not the tenor (heh) of political debate anymore. Also, it seems to cover a lot of the same ground (ahem) as Yes Minister's "The Middle Class Rip-Off".

It has rained A LOT today, so that's a possibility.
