Current ranking of English UCL-qualified teams by how much I dislike them:

Yeah, probably. I think they have a better squad than Chelsea.

Did you see that Man City signed Bernardo Silva? He'll do well there.

Monreal (another player who has thrived under the new system) is more versatile than Debuchy. But who knows what might have been if Debuchy hadn't been so unlucky with injuries? I remember thinking Debuchy seemed like an upgrade on Bacary Sagna, since he was above him in the pecking order for the French national team.

"Prepare for escalation."

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Debuchy and Jenkinson left the club. It seems likely that Ospina will go too. Also, I don't get the impression that Szczęsny wants to be a back-up 'keeper anymore, especially since several Italian clubs want to sign him. So it's possible that Ospina will go to Fenerbahçe (as rumoured)

I think he is a long way from being picked by England again, at least while Gareth Southgate is in charge. I bracket Gibbs with Wilshere and Szczęsny, as boyhood Arsenal supporters and academy players who graduated to the first team. I think it would be tough for him to leave, but it might be in his best interest. It

What about Zelalem?

One notable absentee: Kieran Gibbs. The other injured players collected medals and whatnot, so I'm surprised that I didn't see him. I don't want to read too much into these things, but it seemed a bit odd. Maybe it has something to do with the (imminent?) arrival of Sead Kolašinac? Maybe Gibbs was just upset to miss

The Jeff was there, celebrating wildly.

Yeah, me too. Santi is my favourite. Per is obviously admired and respected by the other players. I wouldn't be surprised if he became a successful manager.

This video is a lot of fun too:

Rosický was there! (1:20)

As I said before, the best football competition is CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying.

Also, I much prefer La Liga to the Premier League. Maybe Arsenal should play in La Liga?

I support them in Europe when Arsenal go out of the UCL.

I met Dennis Bergkamp (and David Platt) in… 1995? I queued for ages in the rain with a friend and we got their autographs. I don't remember what I said to Dennis. It was probably "YOU'RE AMAZING!" or something. I don't think I got much of a response.

I don't consider myself a fan of FC Barcelona, but I have increasingly followed them over the last few years, due to Messi's brilliance.
