That’s not a suspendible hit. Grzelcyk was falling awkwardly into the boards as he was hit and Sundqvist did not jump into the hit. The injury was very much due to Grzelcyck not being straight, and while it’s certainly a boarding penalty, that’s a complete overreaction if Sundqvist is going to miss a game.

That would have been an absurd argument if it was the one anyone actually made! But, alas, it wasn’t. But good job burning that straw man to the ground!

You can’t really use MSA size for the Bay Area mostly because the Census considers SF/Oak and San Jose separate MSAs. You should really look at CSA rankings, which put the Bay Area at #5 after NYC, LA, Chicago and DC/Balt.
