Yeah, I love the film, but that’s due to my familiarity with the books. Needing to canonically fit in fights with 7 evil exes within 2 hours didn’t leave much time for on-screen character development.  

If I had to watch someone deal with that level of fame from up close, I’d probably be really happy with a consistent but low-key career.
