The actors can only do so much if the material is inherently weak.

I remember being so disappointed that Snyder followed up 'Dawn' with this knuckle-dragging pandering tripe. Say what you will about 'Dawn', it has one of the very best opening fifteen minutes in film history. The man had talent and vision, once.
