Since when has anything with even the faintest tinge of 'conservative ideology' had anything to do with logic or reason?

O'Neal could've done something pretty snappy with this, I'm sure. Missed opportunity.

conservatives are the biggest crybaby snowflakes on the planet. your comically inept moron president is in office and busily ruining our country, isn't that enough for you? the hated black man is gone, but you can still conveniently blame him for everything. but now you'll whine and drag out your persecution complex

'Fincher is really too good for this shit.'

Batman goes through a lot of Lisbeths?

The Girl Who Made A Pointless Sequel?

Sadly it doesn't sound like Ben is innocent of the accusations, but if they are for some reason, then it's really regrettable to watch a promising career crumble like this. I wasn't a fan, but as a musician I can relate to how setbacks feel, and these kinda setbacks are not recoverable.

i mean, Rotten Tomatoes is a barometer of absolutely nothing, but for what it's worth it's the highest rated film in the series.

3 is delightfully trashy. it's aged in a fun campy way.

Makes me think of my grandmother. She was a mean-spirited, abusive drunk, to be honest about it, and I guess we always assumed it was mental health related (she survived the Hartford Circus Fire, and if you really want to haunt your dreams you can look that charming event up, but I won't recount it here).

I'd be surprised if Jordan Peele made another horror-thriller, but it'd be great if he did.

II is enjoyable as a relic of its age, especially compared to the minimalism and lack of gore in I. if you take II as nothing more than another empty-headed gory eighties slasher film, like say 'Intruder' or 'Nightmare At Shadow Woods', then it works. But it really does let down the precedent set by I.

Scream 2 is by miles the best film of the series.

I agree about Evil Dead, and almost mentioned it in my own comment. It should be the model for what a modern reboot of a legendary horror franchise should be.

As an eternal fan of this series at its best, I have hopes that Green and McBride might be the ones to do a reboot justice, as weary as I am of reboots at this point. Other than his brief bro-comedy period, Green has been a really compelling director since 'George Washington'. And it sounds like McBride really wants

His performance in 'Frailty' haunted me at seventeen and will continue to haunt me until my own eventual end. It was always a pleasure to see him appear in something, usually quietly menacing, always compelling. Thank you for everything, Mr. Boothe.

Vinyl? I don't remember that one…

yawn. 'pretentious' is the laziest, most ignorant criticism of all time.

ugh, i had managed to block all that out of my memory….

You're wrong on every count. Go watch CSI and leave this one to the big kids.
