I'll give Tommy a pass because of the thing that happened to him in S2 (don't wanna spoil anything for folks catching up), which must have been pretty damaging, but he does have a smugness about him sometimes.

I too thought it was unnecessarily harsh.

When she was having trouble at the airport I thought 'Carrie's having a rough week when it comes to technology'.

From your question's phrasing, and your reaction to the above, this is probably not a show for you.

It's so insanely different from any other television show, and I'm so glad we've been blessed with it.

Fuck me in the teeth, I had no idea that was Brett Butler!

That time when the two best actors on television trampolined in slow-motion to an underrated Wu-Tang track because The Leftovers don't give a fuck.

This show doesn't get enough credit for how funny it can be. I thought I laughed as hard as I could when the 'Perfect Strangers' theme came up in the credits, but when a somber Max Richter piano cover of the theme started in the episode I literally couldn't breathe and had tears streaming down my face.

Mark Linn-Baker for Outstanding Guest Actor Emmy. Damn.

I cannot remember a time when I was attempting to order a McFlurry at McDonald's and the McFlurry maker wasn't out of order.

"I'm told it was a beautiful Belgian day. The smell of waffles and brussels sprouts filled the summer air."

Absolutely. Almost put this is a comment.

I had trouble looking at him because teeth.

Glad someone else feels that way about Better Call Saul. I'm sticking with it because I like the characters, but it's disappearing up its own ass a bit with the long, deliberately boring, dialogue-free segments.

You miss case-a-week stuff? I sure as fuck do not.

Agreed. I agreed with the review otherwise, but this show is far from empty.

I know zero about Bridge, but watching it being played is fucking fascinating. I hope the show teaches us a bit more about it.

'Yeah, well, $750,000 is a LOT"

I agree with this review, mostly, but there's some serious grade/review dissonance going on here.

We all know Tom & Jerry had nothing whatsoever to do with Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. What this straight-to-DVD release presupposes is, maybe they did?
