I've played Hopscotch and it's a great fest, but it looks pretty weak this year. Moogfest in Durham is probably the better festival bet for NC.

Oh Comely is still utterly jawdropping all these years later. When my friend first played it for me (and it was the first thing I heard off this album, around 2001 or so), I had no way to react to it afterward. One of the only songs that's ever done that to me.

It's a great album and still holds up, but I think the mythology comes from people not understanding why someone would put out an album like that and disappear. We're conditioned to want artists who crave stardom and are around to pontificate. It confuses us when we don't get that satisfaction. Just my two cents.

Seconded. I want Marion Crane next season, now that the Norma question has been addressed. Maybe Norman goes to an institution for what he did to Norma, and the last season picks up with a flash-forward to him being released? And of course, 'Norma' is still with him…
