The people who make skins are not in any way, shape, or form, the people who fix bugs or improve gameplay. Artists are not designers. Artists are not programmers. Game studios have many people on staff, and many of the jobs are non-overlapping.

It will be a great tool for any DM, but it won’t replace paper. I’ve been loving it, and setting up my NPC and just made the Big Bad on it today (a dragonborn Paladin of Tiamat) as well as a few encounters.
