I love this guy. He did intellectual bee comedy to warm up the audience for Harmonquest.

All I know is the author hates the adaptation (as well as The Dark Knjght Trilogy, apparently) for some reason. Probably the same reason Stephen King hates Kubrick's Shining.

Interstellar doesn't really have any real characters to hold it together; it's almost all spectacle. Matthew McConaughey is its saving grace.

It doesn't help that he keeps feinting at killing his protagonists and then backing out at the last second.

Totally agreed there. Like Gravity and Avatar, it's more of an experience than a film.

I kind of love the idea that Kanye would have all the symptoms of coke addiction without actually doing it; like that's just his luck. But good to know. I identify and look up to him too much to be okay with him being a drug addict. It wouldn't surprise me, necessarily, but it would bum me out quite a bit.
