Hydrogen is a better fuel source for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that batteries — no matter how good they make them, or whether or not they’re swappable — will always have a limited lifespan, and will then need to be disposed of or recycled. Both options are energy and pollution intensive, and

everything needed could be handled by a reasonably competent driveway mechanic who’s willing to read the included manual.
