Exactly what I was going to say! A person with crippling anxiety is the last person who would confront other people, no matter how loud or obnoxious they were being. And I’m not saying the women she confronted were loud or obnoxious. She was just pissed that these black women weren’t sitting demurely at their table…

In her defense, a few studies have shown that 9 out of 10 persons feeling similar anxiety attacks can trace it back to a steaming pile of horse shit.

Blackness is always perceived as “loudness” and “rudeness” by racists because they are essentially criminalized as a group. It’s why expressions of joy and, unfortunately, mental illness come off as so enraging and/or terrifying to racist piece of shits. Loud and rude whites, who shout in stores and harass employees…

I have anxiety. (finding your child after he attempts suicide will do that to a person) Pretty extreme anxiety. Like have to go find a quiet place and put my head between my knees and practice breathing calmly level anxiety.
