I think our schools need to start mandating empathy lessons, because obviously these people are lacking.

Of all of the dances I went to, I never danced with another person. The closest I got was dancing in a group near some friends that weren’t really friends. One time, I was trying to just dance by myself and a kid a few grades ahead of me spit in my face.

If a judge can reduce a sentence for a man who raped a 3-year old because he claims the rapist didn’t cause the kid any harm, then anything is possible.

He added, “I think the most important thing is the general concept of: Do you support the sanctity of life? Do you think there’s something special about life?”

It just shows that he has no actual stake in the issue one way or another; it is all about baiting voters

I don't know. Music is so personal. I love just about all of her stuff. But I'm a weirdo. Does this float your boat?

I became obsessed with her stuff after seeing her last year on Seth Meyers and I have still been binging on all of her albums ever since.

Ugh, yeah I used to go to conferences for my job. The conferences were filled with men that sold the products that my company reviewed (I’m a writer). So many would touch my back, my arm, give me those uncomfortable “hungry” looks. One time I went with my boss and they asked if I was her daughter.

I am a senior editor at my company and one of my fields of expertise is environmental initiatives as they relate to my field. One day we had a client in that refused to look me in the eye. With each question and answer, he would look to the man sitting next to me, and then I would have to answer him directly. It

EEEEEEEEW!

I don’t even know if it could be considered passive aggressive. Maybe just oblivious racism? But even then, I can’t imagine how willfully obtuse you have to be to think that singing a song about murdering people for the color of their skin could be seen in any other way than racist.

Aw. I saw him perform as part of The Swell Season a few years ago. He’s wonderful.

Yeah, but eventually he’ll get on your nerves. Have you listened to his podcasts?

I’d settle for Amy and David Sedaris

I think hormone levels are definitely a cause for some of those types of side effects. I was having such severe pains without birth control and no doctors would help. They said it was just part of the natural process. And sure there were cysts, but they went away eventually. But as the pain increased, I did my own

Thanks for this. That’s what I was going to point out. I have to pay attention to environmental news as part of my job and legislators have tried to place the blame on birth control before, even though things like fertilizers and other chemicals add these hormones to the water system in larger quantities. I want to

Nexplanon, progesterone only, lasts for 3 years, has been working for me and I had a cyst problem as well. I spotted for a few months straight but I have had absolutely no ovary pain.

Yeah I found it kind of refreshing that that was portrayed in the movie Obvious Child. But really, it makes sense...an opening to our internal organs that babies can come out of + Gravity = goo.

Or that warm feeling you get when a big chunk drops...

For some reason that owl reminds me of my mother in law.
