D to R? More frequently than you think. Ever parallel park? Ever do a 3 point turn? Ever back into your driveway? It’s thoughts like yours that result in shifter under discussion.

And while I’m on muscle memory, there is zero need to look at the shift indicator when you shift from Park to Drive or Drive to Park. The feedback you feel explicitly lets you know what gear you are in. Put it in Park? Slap it all the way up or forward. Done. Just like flat panel controlled sound systems are a hazard

Oh yeah, another thing. Chrysler wizards also introduced the first push button automatic transmission. They were dropped because of safety issues. The same safety issues plaguing them today. Too bad they didn’t learn the lesson. More likely, those who knew retired and the new crowd, I guess you, never learned about

Sorry 450, they are not all morons. Well, maybe some. Look dude, car transmission shifters haven’t really changed for over 70 years. You have Park-thru Drive. All are mechanical shift positions. It’s like muscle memory for most people. Have you ever driven a standard for a while and then got into an automatic. Ever

NFW for the A7 as an A10 replacement. You are out of your FUBAR single brain cell. Oh, it must not be your day for your wife to let you have it.

Retire an aircraft that is at the top of it’s game just because it’s at the top? This isn’t bball, skittles. This isn’t some prissy game player. This is a tool and damn bad ass one at that. There’s no trick to bringing one down. SAMs can, ground fire can, but even then, it can take an unbelievable amount of punishment

USS Nimitz is over 45 years old. Old tech means more people.

I could’ve read every page of the last year’s worth of Mad Magazine instead of watching this drivel.

Eddie my boy, you have sure been socialized to be oh so sensitive to the term of the day microaggression. Those bike drivers are nothing more than thugs. And they acted out in a gang mentality once their number grew to 3. I dislike people like you who insist on limiting my vocabulary simply because some minority group

USAF places like Hill AFB are not 24 hour operations. Bagram is more like a 25/7 operation. People shoot at you. I suppose a carrier or any USN ship or boat could simply stand-down for the third shift, let everyone have pie and ice cream and then start their day off again. Yeah, that’ll work just fine. Just gotta tell

Carilloskis, I tried to find a skill breakdown for a carrier and was unsuccessful. But keep in mind a carrier is a self-contained city. Practically any skill you can think of is required on carriers. I can't think of any skill that you'd find in a small city that wouldn't be on a carrier. Then you have to consider

.....shhhhh..... maybe you should lay low until another article comes out you can comment on. You didn't do so well with this one. Good luck in the future.

Miles, you're a Bernie supporter, aren't you? See built BMW tough's response below.

The OV-10, while an admirable aircraft is in very short supply. There might be some at Davis Monthan but I don’t know. The Super Tucano would be an excellent choice for CAS.

Thank you, JoG.

We all would be much better off had spacy fakey cult dude crashed into the F18.

OK, I give. What's that silvery delta winged thing with single inlets at the wing roots?

Posted at the gate of EVERY military base is a sign. The most important part of the sign are the words, "Use of Deadly Force Authorized."

In the way back when, I'm tooling around in my 65 Cutlass. Pull into the base and just for shits and grins, punch it. Well, the air cleaner cover bolt drops straight into the carb, blocks the throttle wide open, and I'm like, oh shit. I kill the ignition and coast thru the gate at about 45 mph waving at the guard. I

I'm on a slow connection. First time thru I'm watching about a 100 stills slowly update. I was rooting for the guy who made the 360. Computer finally got up to speed and watched in real time. Slomo was better. More suspenseful.
