What’s the over/under on how long until Peter Karmanos demands a new arena or he’ll move the team to Hartford?

Baseball is the only sport that actually looks like America.

Yes, one was a literal fascist who is advised by a neo-Nazi and has said he will declare martial law in the “inner cities,” institute nationwide stop & frisk in violation of the Supreme Court, institute religious tests for entry into the country and create a literal Deportation Force with nebulous authority to round

“This is what 2 ypc looks like” is a pretty good way to help a defense visualize a positive outcome.

But she is an awful individual. I swear she would slit a puppy’s throat for an extra vote.

Was that wrong? Was I not supposed to do that? I tell ya, I’ve got to plead ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when we first started this campaign that that sort of thing was frowned upon...

The Millenials hve also spawned the Alt-Right, so I don’t think it’s all that cut and dried what they will do, especially as they get older.

Millennials aren’t voting in big numbers because young people don’t vote in large numbers, compared to other cohorts. The WP did an article with a chart showing voting rates since the 1960s:

Clinton set Trump up for the present knockdown. Sanders isn’t smart enough to pull it off.

There’s no way he would have brought the level of nuance and timing to the campaign Clinton has. He was a terrible debater. Clinton buried him just like she’s buried Trump. A Sanders/Trump debate would have been two old men yelling at each other for 90 minutes with nothing accomplished.

This! A lot of people forget that Republicans ran on calling Obama a socialist. That worked in getting their base to the polls and wiping out a Democratic majority. You can be sure they’d be equating him to a communist.

I am an enthusiastic Clinton supporter. I would have been a reluctant but dutiful Sanders supporter. He sucks in so many ways that it boggles my mind that people still take him seriously as a politician, let alone the leader of a movement.

People also assume that support for Sanders would be as enthusiastic as it was during the primaries, which is not the the case for a vast number of left-leaning voters. Like, sure, if he were the nominee, I would be voting for him (because I’m not one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse) but a vast number of us

She had opposition research on Bernie, she just didn’t use it because

There was never any serious opposition research against Bernie, because Hillary was terrified of alienating millenials. Even setting aside the simple “literally a socialist” argument that Repubs would deploy (and that half of voters would not vote for an avowed socialist), here’s a small and incomplete list of how

Socialism: Potentially appealing to half the country if the only other option is racist, sexist, and quasi-fascist. Catch the fever!

Counterpoint: No.

He doesn’t need to pick a side, but Both Sides Are Equally Bad is the argument of somebody who hasn’t thought things through.
