Well alright, i can understand the convenience thing but it would also mean new types of services would sprout making your "digital shopping" more convenient by offering platform comparison prices and then voila you still get a relatively convenient way but even cheaper stuff (maybe).

Eh, yeah but at least some characters were wacky builds that were stuck that way because of toon attachment, there was also always some sort of level difference ... i mean unless you ran with a 99 crowd. I sure as hell didn't. Always taunting your friends about their shit build and the lack of that 1 level while they

No, i don't think we really want that, i mean usually we pretty much hate monopoly, but i think emotions come into play when it comes to gaming. Us gamers are an emotional bunch with lots of menstruation over shit that would otherwise be seen as "who gives a fuck gif me moar cheap gaems".

Well Apple sells their products through various retail chains that want to have them and accept their warranty conditions and terms of use and whatnot. But they also have their very own Apple stores. Well it just so happened that at some point Apple and Costco had some misunderstanding with terms or something and then

I can't comment on that i have no numbers or any knowledge about numbers on a MAC platform. In fact i have a question about it, is vgchartz putting MAC sales in the PC section or should they actually have a separate MAC section ? I mean, i can't imagine the market being that big if there aren't even any sale stats

Alright man ... i don't know what to tell you, i don't like some of the features of Diablo 3, what can i say, it's not like i don't want you to enjoy the game, by all means, i would have personally liked a different approach so that i can be as excited about it as you are. What, maybe i`m jealous that you are excited

Why do so many people WANT a Steam monopoly that badly ? There must be something here i do not understand, why is competition not welcome ? Hell, i want 5, 10, 100 online game stores to open up and drive digital prices into the ground ! Publisher packs for $10 instead of $60 ? Yes, yes i do want, i`m greedy like that.

Well look there are 2 ways this can go down. Origin is a shit service with high prices and nobody will care about it. Then it dies and EA is humiliated and returns to Steam. We lost nothing and won nothing. OR, Origin is an alright service that causes capitalist friction which in turn causes a fall in digital prices

Wait what ? So you want a company to not want to make more money ? Problem is, EA doesn't WANT valve to host their DLC and they figure they can do it alone and keep ALL the profits. I can see how that may be inconvenient for you to have 2 platforms running for playing games, but it`s exactly the same thing as Apple

Yes, i hated that damn store and how stupid it was to do anything. Hopefully they were good little gimps and cloned steam then improved on it.

Well because it's not really a bluff, it`s pretty transparent. EA wants to keep all the money from DLC, period. Steam won't allow that. No bluff to be called. Unless Steam backs down and then every publisher will make a little makeshift distribution platform for their own DLC and Steam becomes a CD-KEY seller at

Easy answer. They won't. I will install Origin to play BF3 no question about it. But unless i see cheaper stuff then Steam, i won't be interested in buying. They HAVE to make stuff cheaper or this is only going to be a fancy front-end for some games that will end up costing them more money then they make out of it.

Man ... i just can't do it on this game, not after seeing the 64 player video. I'll boycott anything you want but not BF3. Please don't be upset with me, i really care about PC gaming but i really don't care about having to install Origin to play BF3. But i won't buy anything else on it ! Unless they manage to

Man that would be pretty badass. I would appreciate it more then all this back and forth bullshitting.

I dunno, i just like getting riled up, i never even thought about installing that thing, but then i've seen the 64 player BF3 demo and i simply do not care at all anymore. Origin ? sure thing, with lots of ketchup i won`t be able to tell what's what. I just want BF3 already.

Mmmm, BF3 as a MAC exclusive. I think i would cry all the way to the apple store and back.

I don't think they are trying to compete at this point. They just want to control the DLC money flow completely ... and i reckon Steam's new Terms of Agreement doesn't allow that anymore.

As far as i understood, that 3rd party thing doesn't fly on Steam anymore (from now on) because of the new Terms of Agreement Valve has implemented. I'm not really sure tho, it`s how i understood. Problem is, Valve took down the EA games not the other way around so i think the terms of agreement thing is the issue.

EA doesn't force you to do anything man. You can opt out of buying any EA games and nobody will break your legs or call you names, relax.

So is this like GTA 1/2 but your car always has a bomb strapped on and you can't ever get out ? Mmmm, old top-down gta's .... god damn i want to play one of those now.
