I’ve always considered this movie a transition film from the Disney dark ages of the 70s and 80s into the start of the Disney Renaissance with The Little Mermaid. I feel similarly about Meet the Robinsons.

I’d also nominate Robin Williams as the Genie in Aladdin.

I read somewhere that he said that this was one of his favorite roles that he had ever done.

I think that Rowling’s hateful beliefs are completely sincere, unfortunately. You don’t write an incredibly long book that’s basically a rant on how letting trans women in women’s bathrooms will let predatory men put on dresses to attack women in those bathrooms if you don’t seriously believe it. That seems overkill

As a Percy Jackson fan, I can confirm this. You could make the argument that that is pretty true to the myths, though.

They aren’t remotely on the same scale, but there are a series of visual novels that are clearly inspired by Harry Potter (I forget what they’re called and haven’t played them). Ikenfell is an indie RPG that also seems heavily inspired by the franchise.

She has complete rights control over the Harry Potter franchise. It would be very unlikely that she did not ask for licensing money from this game, since she would have all of the negotiating strength, and since this game is still likely to do well, asking for a cut of the profits would be the smartest thing to do.

I love the fight against Doopliss in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. First, it’s the fact that it’s the always cool idea of fighting against someone with an identical move set to you. Add to that that your whole party has betrayed and is fighting against you, leaving you to fight alone for the first half of the

Honestly, not listening to Gwyneth Paltrow is just good advice in general.

This person has too much time on their hands, and I’m so glad that they do.

They probably left it reserved until now just in case things stabilized by then. It wouldn’t cost them anything to do so.

Yeah. I wholly agree. It didn’t feel like a Zelda game, but more like some weird spinoff that was trying to claim it was a main Zelda game. It’d be like if Nintendo claimed Hyrule Warriors or Cadence of Hyrule as mainline games. Even if you like those titles, they are very different than the mainline series (heck, Cade

Sure, there are things that they know fans probably want and are looking for in the game from past entries, but people also want franchises to expand and change to some degree, so what’s to say that adding multiplayer and live service elements to Dragon Age wouldn’t go over well? Now it obviously didn’t, but how are

So this is a bit of a deep cut, so I swear that I’m not claiming this as my favorite Doctor Who companion just for hipster points, but it was Wendy Padbury, who played the 1960s 2nd-Doctor companion Zoe Heriot, a genius astrophysicist and mathematician who, among other things, destroyed a cyberman fleet with math,

Oh, completely agreed. I wasn’t meaning to imply that the rest of Whedon’s behavior was acceptable. Just that there is some evidence that, while probably not on the level of someone like Weinstein or Cosby, some of Joss’ bad behavior may have had sexual elements to it, which the original poster was claiming there

I saw her at one of the last conventions that I went to before...everything happened. I didn’t talk to them then due to shyness and the fact that the actress who had played my favorite Doctor Who companion of all time was in the neighboring booth, but just from how I saw her and Amber Benson interacting with

Michelle Tractenberg’s statement kind of implies that he made sexual comments to a 15-year-old girl, and he reportedly slept with people who worked for him. Both of those are actually kind of warning signs.

I kind of want to see the universe where that happened. Nicholas Brendon did a good job, but Ryan Reynolds as Xander sounds hysterical.
