An episodic point and click adventure game in the Telltale style might work.

Yeah, 100 Acre Wood is kind of played out in Kingdom Hearts. It seemed like that they really didn’t know what to do with it in III especially. Replacing it with a Muppets world is great idea. You can do minigames to help them put on an episode of the Muppet Show. It’d be great.

There are some mecha strategy games. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Sakura Wars come to mind, but I’m sure there are others.

That would be Great Moments in American History with the Muppets. I believe that it is not currently operating, unfortunately.

I doubt that they would reunite considering the rest of the band seems to despise Morissey with a burning passion. Also, Morissey is basically a Nazi at this point, so I have a hard time seeing him agreeing to reunite because a liberal politician asked them to.

I mean, young folks and their cave paintings will destroy the human race, clearly.

I know this is satire, but people literally made these sorts of arguments in the 20s. I once read a newspaper article from the early 1900s that proclaimed that this degenerate, wild ragtime music was going to destroy America.

If this were the 1700s, yes they would. This is the same moral panic that has happened when literally any medium is invented.

See also Justice League and Bohemian Rhapsody. And the original director of the Wizard of Oz was fired and replaced shortly after filming began.

Anthem, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XV, Resident Evil 2, Doom (2016), Duke Nukem Forever, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, Mother 3, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Aliens: Colonial Marines, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, Call of duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero,

Granted, I haven’t played more than a demo of the game (which having a demo for that game may have been the worst advertising for anything that I’ve ever seen), but it definitely has platforming elements to it. It’s kind of a game that is really hard to classify, because it pulls from a ton of genres (platformer,

The pogo stick reference was in “Escape from the Impossibin!” I tried to find a clip, but I can’t seem to. A LEGO Ducktales would be fun. It’d have the cast size for it. A sort of puzzle platformer with occasional combat where you swap between characters with unique abilities would definitely work (which is basically

Hey, I’m a Shy Guy, not a Toad.

I was also surprised at the lack of Sonic Boom, as it technically meets the criteria (home console, platformer, stars Sonic). Maybe no one wanted to actually play it, which I can’t really blame them for.

06 and the HD version of Unleashed also had hub worlds, but those are the only ones that do.

It’s the one about Mel Brooks and the Producers.

Wait, you don’t want to see Kermit shot in the head and lying facedown in a swimming pool?

Yes. And I say this as a current resident of Texas and someone who technically works for the state government in an educational role, albeit a recent immigrant to the state.

I’ve been playing through the Zero Escape series. Maybe not the best choice in the world right now considering where the plot goes (the plot of games 2 and 3 end up revolving around a deadly pandemic, something that I did not know going in), but I’m too sucked into the utterly bizarre, twisty story to back out now.
