That’s basically the approach that Ultimate Fantastic Four took and I actually thought that worked pretty well (except for the terrible Greg Land art which isn’t really a factor here). I’d be fine with tying their origin into the negative zone, but even the Ultimate universe version held off Annihilus until a bit after

I think that they could maybe seed him a bit in the first film, but they really need to save him as a main villain for a sequel where they can spend more time developing him. Kind of like what Christopher Nolan did with the Joker because that was a stroke of genius.

I just want to say that The Monkees’ “Daydream Believer” is an absolutely underrated and fantastic song, and it was the perfect choice for this trailer.

While R&M’s human character designs are usually pretty crude, the environment and creature design in the show is actually pretty spectacular. You can’t really say that about most of its imitators.

The show is actually pretty hilarious most of the time. The dark episodes are indeed pretty dark, but there’s usually only one or two a season. The show is capable of being one of the funniest shows that I’ve ever seen, and it often is. Although the first half of season one is weak on that front.

Most of the people that I know who are hardcore Depp defenders are hardcore progressives who hate Trump with a passion, so I don’t think the overlap is as big as you think.

Considering the fact that there are no problems facing the country whatsoever right now, this definitely seems like the best possible use of the Senate’s time. /s

I’m not sure why you’re asking me to prove it? I agree with you that it’s not in the EULA, because Paper Mario: TTYD doesn’t have one.

Yep.

Yep. It pops up before the title screen and you have to press a button on the controller to move on to the actual game.

Yeah, I agree. Thanks for the clarification on what you meant.

Based off of the description of the effect, this game probably will trigger epilepsy more than most. Bright, rapidly flashing lights are really bad for that, and most games don’t have them nearly as much as it sounds like this does. This game hasn’t been released to the public yet, so this journalist is probably just t

I would add that adding warnings before particularly harsh strobe effects should be the minimum (especially as from the sound of this it’s in a cutscene rather than gameplay). Or better yet: don’t put extreme strobe effects in your game.

Yep. I agree.

Yeah, pretty much. I do remember that I think that a couple other games also had that splash screen (I think Luigi’s Mansion also had it, but I don’t quite remember, so take that with a grain of salt), but very few did, so I don’t know why they specifically put it in Paper Mario: TTYD. Like I said, I don’t think that

Most games have a seizure warning in them or on the box somewhere, and have at least since the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox era (although it may have started earlier, that era was when I started playing games). I looked through a lot of recently purchased PS4 and Switch games, and they literally all have an epilepsy warning on

If you look on the back of most games, they have seizure warnings written in small print on the back of the box. I’m looking on the backs of some recently purchased PS4 and Switch games, and they all have a warning. From the back of Crash Bandicoot 4's case, for example:

Those warnings come with most games. A similar warning plays at the beginning of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and other than like three flashes of bright light in the Cortez battle that are spaced decently far apart, nothing I can remember in the game would cause epilepsy more than most games. This is a

It also wouldn’t shock me if it was largely because she was a woman working as a video game journalist that dared to criticize their sacred cow. That sort of thing alone tends to set these sorts of people off. It didn’t matter what the criticism was or how fair or justified the criticism is, she was a woman who

How’s this for a solution: just don’t having the rapidly flashing bright lights? I’m pretty sure that having those in there is not 100% necessary for the story and gameplay.
