That’s terrifying. Turbo LOVES the car but I’m horrified at the prospect of getting in an accident with him not secured property. Typically he sits on my lap but he’s so damn fat now that we’re trying to phase to the passenger or backseat.

Turbo the Corgi stares wistfully out the window of my ‘87 4Runner.
Not having enough people in my life who care about the useless knowledge bouncing around in my head. I need an outlet.
Thanks so much for responding! And thanks for doing this.
If you could invest in one car made in the last 20 years because you thought it would appreciate in value, what car would you pick? No Porsche.
If you’ve ever driven a manual IS/SC300, you’d know they weren’t missing out. That W58 gearbox really, really sucks.
I knew someone was going to ask for clarification. I was talking about the sedan, sorry haha.
Probably the only other non-supersport sedan for sale at the time that actually had a WORSE horsepower/gas mileage ratio. Both the G series and the IS300 were absolutely abysmal in that regard.
What car are you looking at getting into?
This was one of my favorite cars growing up (I was 8 when it debuted) and I counted my dollars until I could purchase one. I waited and waited for a clean, manual one with the optional LSD. I absolutely hated it. I owned it for a year, it was perfectly reliable, but was a downright bummer to drive. Weak chassis,…
The bottom value is measured in 1000s and goes up to 7, since they don’t cross, I think that’s RPM, not torque.
Well... It’s not
“His first car was a Model T.”
When I first saw the text I thought you were accusing me... to which the answer would be yes. But that looks fresh. Needs more window and less pillar.
It’s not, but by virtue of inclusion the Youabian Puma is.
Yeah, the Soarer that it’s based on isn’t quite as luxurious as the LS400.
This is making me realize that there really should have been a giant LS400 coupe with doors heavy enough to take your foot clean off. Or at least a concept.
Open top SUV’s (I call them ATSUV for alternative-top and write a small blog defending that) are my favorite cars period. I have a personally curated list of each one to exist past 1970. I currently have a first gen 4Runner and want to try to own every kind that I can. Toyota Blizzard or BJ70 Cruiser is next for me.
That makes way more sense.
For there only being 817 of those Bullitts I feel like I see them all the time in Austin. I just saw one yesterday at a BHPH lot. I drove one about a year ago and was remarkably impressed compared to similar era Mustang offerings.
