Not enough Wagovan.
You were the target market.
Lincoln is borderline irrelevant, though. They need huge sellers like cheaper, entry level CUV's and more plain sedans. The MKX isn't entry-level enough. They need a Mercedes A or B fighter. They won't have enough capital to make a performance venture until then.
bring back the Wagovan!

Wait since you're replying can I have an autographed copy of your book!? I've asked every time you've replied to a comment of mine.
Every time I see a picture of the top half of you, I wonder if you're wearing pants.
Exactly right. It is closest related to an updated DTS.
Can't be unseen.
someone woke up on the wrong side of the Chris Bangle-designed bed this morning.
I'm not particularly impressed by this list. None of these cars are as quintessentially 80s as I hoped. The Lincoln shouldn't even be on this list, whether it is from 1981 or not - the point is that the 80s moved past the automotive nightmare that was the malaise era, and that car is about as malaise as you can get.
As a middle class Texan who loves that brand, lol.
Hahaha was their drinking really relevant then?
Do you have any plans for a new world-beater flagship like the Sixteen and Elmiraj concepts? The CT6 will be great but it is no Maybach. We need a CTSixteen.
I agree, discussing a render is a waste of time. But I don't know, it just isn't evocative. The A8 is pleasurably 3-box and understated, the seven series is, well, old, but the new S-Class is a downright erotic design. I need to be moved by the CT6 and it isn't happening.
If that render is close to production Cadillac STILL hasn't figured out how to integrate their lovely front fascia with the quarter panels and beltline.
I'm going to need to see a profile and 3/4ths view before passing any judgment. They all look great from the front, its keeping the panels flowing where they sometimes have some issues.
That's what I'm saying. There was one in El Paso for months that was listed at 8k with 45,000 original miles and one owner. I don't know if it ever sold but that's a nine hour, west Texas road trip I wouldn't mind making.
