Kathryn Hahn is just great. Loved her in Parks & Rec, and then happened to catch Bad Words on IFC or something. It’s not her star role in the movie, but she makes the most of it — which seems to be the case in most things she’s in.

Whedon’s work is what it says on the tin: a director trying to recut another director’s work into a vision the studio wanted. The studio was banking on Whedon’s brand name and it failed.

Late career John Williams is less about a full great score and more about getting that couple second hook they can reuse forever. He is not a terrible composer by any stretch and the HP score is pretty good but its no Superman theme

OK, for one, Age Of Ultron was the penultimate movie of Phase Two, so it wasn’t exactly released in “the middle”. And Ant-Man isn’t so much of a cap to Phase Two as much as Civil War is more of a start to Phase Three.
