When was the last time "lol other people have it worse than you" had any actual significance other than an excuse to be an asshole to other people when they're down?

That serial number seems kind of unfair. She's much more famous than most Used Up and Spat Out Child Stars.
Hey, Palahniuk is great, I don't see that as literary punishment (even though I haven't read anything past Snuff yet).
My problem with Gaiman's novels (not counting Coraline, which is flawless) is that they are like a poor man's Terry Pratchett novels. American Gods is full of obvious things that are presented like some deep, original observations about modern society. Maybe there's a good novel in there if you get past that, but it's…
On the other hand, B seems almost too harsh based on how perfect the post-apocalyptic horror feel of the pre-twist part was. The sound alone is worth an A+ even if that's not a grade anymore. I just really wanted for the episode to go a different way.
B. I loved it up until the twist, which, while not bad, really just makes this torture porn. The moral questions posed by this are not interesting to me in that I feel like I have simple answers for them and the park is just not plausible.
I too couldn't get into this story until the very end mostly because of how badly planned it was. I've come to expect more of Emily and as much as I don't like to admit that, the quality planning that goes into her revenging is an integral part of why I care about her and want her to succeed.
I actually thought this episode might have been the best of the season so far, and this is the best season since season 4. The C really surprised me.
Logged in just to downvote this.
On the other hand, it's a big deal on The Originals BUT not because they're short supply, Marcel (and now Klaus I guess) just won't let anyone wear them.
I smell a Vampire Diaries porn parody.
Really don't agree with the grade of this episode. I didn't like the last Elena/Damon scene because I actually wanted for them to do something interesting with their relationship, yet it seems that we are destined to enter another round of will they/won't they get back together drama that just can't be played well at…
The whole sire-bond plot was stupid. Humanity-free Elena was great, she had a level of not giving a fuck that is solely matched on tv.
I really liked Benny too. Which is why I was sad we saw so little of him.
I was okay with the alphas storyline and actually liked Eve (even though noone else seemed to). Campbells truly were awful and I basically cheered when Grandpa died, but that wasn't the only thing that season had going on. Making Castiel the actual villain was a great decision (and resulted in 'The Man Who Would Be…
Well, bisexuality is a thing. So far it was almost exclusively heterosexuality that got heightened openly (the only exception I can think of was Isobel and even that only extended to compelling strippers of both sexes).
If I remember correctly, the real Meg said she was only around for some of what demon Meg did.
Breaking Bad always had Jesse, who, while not morally clear, still worked as a conscience of the show.
Not sure if to all of us, but to me, certainly. That whole thing with Stefan wasn't just friendship. They'd never admit that, though.
That would be great, actually. I'd like a trip to heaven, that one episode in season 5 was great.
