TDK was such a perfect storm. You had a really good filmmaker in Nolan working from really good source material (The Long Halloween and The Killing Joke are seminal Batman stories), combined with that Ledger performance and the increased interest his passing created.

But is "seeing the whole team together" really that big a deal at this point? The three biggest members of said team have already been seen together. It'd be like if Cap, Iron Man, and Thor had a movie together prior to Avengers.

Batman Begins was super well-liked, though, and built a lot of goodwill that The Dark Knight ultimately capitalized on.

Goes to show you how disposable these radio jams have gotten that these fuckers threw together a mixtape dedicated to a goddamn grocery store item that actually SOUNDS like it would be on an FM station.

"So…eh….good luck with that."

That header image makes me think of this as nothing more than an elaborate sketch show parody of the Rush Hour movies.

Damn, this is like an avalanche of "Shit I Should Probably Try Listening To Sometime".

HI I'M GUY FIERI AND I'M PROWLING THE STREETS OF YOUR SHITTY ASS TOWN LOOKING FOR THE WORST PLACES TO EAT IN AMERICA! STARTING WITH THIS LOCAL BARBECUE JOINT THE LOCALS SAY "SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!"

This is the future South Park warned us about…….

The robot is back? That's all that matters.

The end got me excited because I've always wanted this show to try and be more case focused. I feel like the office shenanigans has far less comedy potential than mining the absurd cases possible in New York.

As is "SexyBack"…..

I got bubble guts just looking at that thing.

This was a straight up A+ episode for me. That scene where Evil Wells realizes what's up, smacks the shit out of Barry, and confronts him? They need to push Cavanagh for an Emmy nom.

This is huge for B99. If it gets the standard season order of 22 episodes, it'll stand a very good chance of getting a fifth season renewal to get it over 100.

Also the World's Finest three-parter from the DCAU is a ton of fun.

True. He was credited because he wrote an outline prior to "Begins" that included the Joker and Harvey as major players in a possible sequel. The Nolans took over and actually wrote the movie.

I don't think Goyer had anything to do with The Dark Knight.

And you wondered why they waited to lift the review embargo this close to release….

Henry and Jesse sounds like an NBC Tuesday comedy that gets cancelled after two episodes.
