Does the exploitation really surprise anyone here?! Valve took a deep look onto the Coal exploit desaster a few years back, and and under a lot of thought pressure - just as in real life - the coal turned into diamonds, which happen to be gems.

First: If you run ANY ROM drive without a constant backup of it for data rescue in case of the drive facing a surprising death ... that's for you to be blamed, don't trust any storage solution to be save, especially with data that is unique and special to you.
