Odd omission to the article:

Typical armchair response. It’s great car for what it’s designed for. You obviously have your biases and would never even consider driving one.

If what you’re saying is so true, how come the film opened worst than the 5th Pirates of the Caribbean sequel? Or Justice League?

For me, it was pretty much exclusively that I didn’t want a prequel focused on Han Solo. Certainly not one with a checklist of: Meet Chewie. Meet Lando. Win Millenium Falcon in a card game. Kessel Run.... these were all things I knew we’d see the moment they announced the film, and frankly I don’t care about seeing

But seriously, read the talkbacks on any major film site and you will see the majority of people who created this opening stayed home because of how they character assasinated Luke in TLJ.

I agree with you, I have no interest in rewatching either Force Awakens or Last Jedi. They are ok movies but they seem to be not so cheap copies of the original trilogy and as you mentioned the powers that be have not shown the original characters much respect. I’m a nobody, yet I can see at least a half dozen better

People love to brand the “haters” as toxic, but they’ve got nothing on the blind loyalists that lash out even at rational, well-supported arguments.

Totally. The evidence that people are unhappy with how Disney handled TLJ is out there. You don’t even have to agree with their views to SEE that people are having these reactions. It’s weird that the article is basically saying to “ignore those people... they have no impact on sales”.

People have to care a ton before

Just read the comment section of Indiewire or THR or Variety and the overwhelming majority of people said they boycotted the film due to how Disney has treated Luke and Han in these new films.

Well you’re fucking stupid. Thanks for clearing that up for everyone.

I wanna see you swallow a tube of toothpaste.

A good punishment would be making this kid live like a homeless person every day for two years. He can scrounge and see if he can get into a homeless shelter every night, if not sleep somewhere on the street, and then eat meals at the local Soup Kitchen, then get taunted and pointed at on the street.

Now THAT is a punchable face..

Man intentionally poisons another human being for profit. You’re damn right he should be arrested. Surprised it’s not assault to be honest.

Fuck this guy. What an asshole.

I find your lack of mentioning or explaining the Yoda in the background disturbing.

Not sure why the second truck driver responded as he did but I can’t fault the first one. He was going the same speed as other traffic and made the only evasive maneuver he could, with a bus in the lane beside him.

This is...dumb? I don’t have a dishwasher, and it’s just my wife and I (no kids), so we (I) wash dishes once a day (first thing in the morning) unless something egregious / smelly is in the sink. Soaking is a must for.. .most things? In reality you can soak for 5 minutes or 12 hours and it’s the same thing, but

For the most part, I agree, but... unless I scarf the whole bowl of oatmeal down and sprint to the sink, it needs a few minutes of being submerged before washing. Why knock yourself out scrubbing portland-cement-like-oatmeal from the bowl? We have the technology. We can get the oatmeal to release willingly.

No baking dish with any degree of baked-on crud will benefit from “a minute or two” of soaking. Sorry, but the average lasagna dish is infinitely easier to clean after hours of soaking, whether or not you consider it an act of laziness or procrastination.
