You must have been missed the last 15 years of sitcoms on CBS if you think this show is the bottom of the barrel

Hmmmm, quick analysis from memory. I could be wrong but here's my take:
She titled a song "Ironic" and sang about numerous situations, none of which are ironic. Which actually makes naming the song "Ironic" a perfect example of irony. So I guess it works after all?
How insane is it that 36 Chambers, Ready to Die, and Illmatic were all released within 10 months of each other?
The Loneliest Planet. That's a movie that looks beautiful but only has one scene that actually drives the plot at all. That one scene is done awkwardly and feels so manufactured. I really despised that film.

Since the main topic of conversation seems to be movies from this list that we hated let me start the conversation about The Loneliest Planet. That would easily make my list of the 5 worst films I've seen this decade. I can't for the life of me understand some of the critical praise it got.
Huh, that's not at all my interpretation of the ending. That would probably be way too long a discussion though and I don't want to spoil any further for those that haven't seen it. That ending though, is why I love the film so much.
I love this post. Good info.
I can't argue with that. Though I can't sleep on "Hit the Jamaican spot, at the bar, took a seat. I ordered the jerk, she said you are what you eat"
Except that time didn't start with year 1 either so that logic doesn't work. Since time existed before we started number the years in this specific way, any ten year period is a decade. So if someone was describing the 1970th complete decade since the first year of this calendar then you could be correct, but…
Soooo I enjoy both these things but they don't go well together at all. Better luck next time, Internet.
I have to defend Signs on the water thing. I believe the idea is that these aliens have run out of resources on their planet so that's why they want to take over ours. Since as far as we know, there are NO other planets with ANY resources (we don't know what, specifically they were after) we are to assume that even…
I'm surprisingly happy with this list. I have no complaints.
From people I know that have worked with her (anecdotal, I know), "rude and cocky" would be a fairly nice way to describe Ellen.
The Coasters, "Down in Mexico"
I know it just came out but damn the Knight of Cups trailer was intriguing.
Birdman is very much a great movie (my #1 of the year so far). It's just not exactly what you think it would be from the trailer.
