That list got me excited. The key will be seeing how many actually come to fruition (for example, as much as I would love it, I don't see the Black Hippy album actually happening this year). Particularly excited for AZ, Run the Jewels, and everything TDE (especially Kendrick, obviously, who is on as hot a streak as

I was just going to mention Superthug. It's impossible to talk about the best things Pharrell has ever done without bringing that song up.

Next - "Too Close"

The Coaster - "Down in Mexico"

Nas - It Aint Hard to Tell (God damn is that Michael Jackson sample perfect or what?)
Queens of the Stone Age - First it Giveth
Gorillaz - Oh Green World
Kanye West - So Appalled
Bob Marley - Waiting In Vain

For a second when I saw the headline I thought this was a HateSong. That would have been realllllly interesting.

Did anyone else read Billboard's College Dropout Oral History?

The Good Wife, despite it's title and original premise, is damn good TV right now.

Dexter. 100% Dexter. To the point where I never finished it (and after hearing about the ending I'm thankful I never made it there)

I was referring more to prestige and awards noms. You're right in terms of blockbusters in general because obviously more people see them. My example would be in 2006 there was a lot of backlash to Little Miss Sunshine being nominated and I don't recall much backlash to Babel's nom. LMS had a $8M budget to the Brad

I guess maybe "hasn't held up" was the wrong phrasing. It was a movie that I thought was definitely Best Picture worthy as I watched it but that seems pretty insignificant now. The rest of the movies I mentioned are ones that I've been inclined to revisit multiple times. The Social Network has just kind of faded

Sorry, should have reread. That not shouldn't have been in there. The Oscars are definitely (in my opinion) NOT worse than the Emmys.

It's kind of crazy that these smaller movies seem to attract way more backlash than larger, studio films. Beasts of the Southern Wild was definitely my number one film of last year but I actually rooted against it to win Best Picture because I was dreading all the people coming out of the woodwork to bash it

Be careful… this almost makes it sound like they're worse than the Emmys which has had only two Best Comedy Series winners in the last 7 years.

Looking back that year was quality. Any number of films could have (and probably should have) won over The Kings Speech. Winters Bone, The Social Network (though that hasn't held up great), Black Swan, and The Fighter all would have been worthy.

The Roots - Don't See Us
Frank Ocean - Dust
Howard Shore - Billy's Theme (The Departed Soundtrack)
Radiohead - Idioteque
Gorillaz - All Alone

Buzzfeed is notorious for reproducing content without sourcing or crediting the original provider. So yeah, it's probably a pretty easy, obvious joke.

Sooo… the irony of Buzzfeed calling people out on plagiarism?

Yeah I enjoyed it too. One of the few movies shot in Pittsburgh that stayed true to the actual layout of the city. Plus I got the watch the first one in the theater down the street from where I lived and scenes were shot, with the film introduced by Cruise and Chris McQuarrie watching in the audience. So yeah, I'm

It's really that good. Especially if you've liked any other Killer Mike albums, though RTJ is much more energetic.
