Cinque Terre is the best.

I would say, in that respect they do a pretty good job with their choices.  I definitely think Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and "Call Me Maybe" could be considered good to great Pop music.  Nicki Minaj and Drake both showed promise in reaching that level but get further and further away from it the longer they're

Congrats on the ability to write a paragraph about Pitchfork that ends with you coming off as the pretentious one.

It would have been amazing if the entire list consisted of
everyone writing about the Radiohead’s reluctance to play Creep and how excited
they were when Radiohead actually started playing Creep at the show they
happened to be at.

I definitely noticed that too when watching live.

So just to be clear, since I don't think it was touched on in the review.  Todd Packer is going to be the reason for the demise of Jim and Daryl's jobs in Philly?  Why would they even let him in their office?

Busta Rhymes - Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See
The Weeknd - Life of the Party
The Strokes - Someday
Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears - Gunpowder
Jimkata - 10 to 1
Jack White - Love Interruption

This question seems reminiscent of "Are there too many comedy podcasts?"

Yeah it kinda has the feeling of someone in marketing suggesting they mock a style of promo that hasn't been done in years.  He's already the biggest comic in stand up right now, so what's the point of mocking people who were previously the biggest comics in stand up?

There's no such thing as a worse version of Tosh.O

I take it you're new to this site?

Your second paragraph is exactly my view.  We spend those last 5 minutes with the same sense of foreboding and making connections that may or may not be there that Tony has to live with the rest of his life.  Take that scene out of context and it could be a commercial for the diner with a happy family eating great

No way. 2 Broke Girls is wayyyy to risque for Willard.  He's definitely all about Guys with Kids.

I'm not saying that I treat it as a definitive source.  I do exactly what you are saying.  But I know a ton of people (friends, bloggers, podcasts) that DO treat RT scores a definitive.  That is what frustrates me.

Fair point.  My examples were just theoretical. I guess I'm referring to something like (just picked 3 random examples from the past year or so that have similar scores) Rise of the Planet of the Apes (83%), Beasts of the Southern Wild (86%) and Tree of Life (84%).  All look like pretty equal films by the RT score

That's my biggest problem with Rotten Tomatoes.  I would much rather see a movie that 65% of people give a 10/10 and 35% give a 5/10 than a movie that 100% of people give a 6/10.  Unfortunately, RT score seems to have become the consensus pick of how to rate movie quality.
