Ugh. People suck SO MUCH!

I can't tell what's funnier... the comments or the video. :54 literally had me in tears. Goat parkour. So hilarious.

It was only harmful in that it enforced a false gender/sex dichotomy. Thankfully, they have entered into this century and changed their archaic rules :)

I disagree.

I was not comparing the two. I was pointing out the absurdity that tradition is a good reason to continue doing something.

Wow. Your inability to take things into context (or use proper grammar for that matter,) is making this discussion increasingly frustrating.

I was responding to someone's comment, not to the article as a whole. So yes, I am glad that they changed the rules.

Forcing one group to wear dresses and the other to wear pants to try and shove them into separate groups is the problem. Let them choose whichever gendered clothing they want, or just make everyone wear pants. There is absolutely no need to demarcate a difference between male/female, men/women when this is a false

There is no way that I believe the 2 are comparable. My point was that "tradition" is an absolutely shitty and terrible reason to continue doing something. Hanging blacks was a tradition, burning women at the stake for being 'witches' was a tradition, etc. Trying to give something impunity simply because it's

I am not necessarily hating on uniforms in general. I am hating on uniforms that serve to delineate people into separate groups - men v. women, or male v. female, especially since this is a false dichotomy.

Because it alienates those who do not fit into a gender/sex dichotomy.

Because it's a stupid, irrelevant, pointless tradition that serves to do nothing but arbitrarily delineate between the sexes/genders and alienate those who do not fit into the false sex/gender dichotomy.
