The profound contrast between my want for this and my need for it is bumming me out.
It’s an aesthetic thing as I understand it, seemingly derivative of “chibi”, a style wherein every part of a character is clunked out to the maximum. That’s pretty much the driving force behind the animes that have hilariously clunky footwear. Otherwise it all comes down to the character. Even in over the top anime…
If I have even a modicum of presence in a fandom you can be 100% certain I want it in sock form; maybe work on the subtlety when it comes to actual shoes.
If you’re white knuckling your antiquated faux-morality in the face of thinking of poor little Jimmy and Jane sharing a bathroom, but have no problem with them sharing literally every other space on earth, you have no idea what you’re talking about and need to fix that before contributing to the conversation. Saying…
I take that as a compliment.
Oh boy, the discourse in these comments is going to be spectacular. I can’t wait to have the complexities of government appreciated while hearing about the many pragmatic solutions that would work without fail from people who know what they’re talking about.
I’d buy a box of edible utensils; buttery cracker or tortilla flavor for dinner and waffle cone for desert, why the hell not. But making these at home seems completely not worth it.
I’m excited anytime a player as big Amazon enters a new market. Skepticism is boring, I want Fire-pants.
Great article, really shockingly so. I have been so disillusioned with Gawker Media lately and needed this piece, the terribly difficult questions it’s making me ask myself, and the touching comments to remind me why I still haunt this place.
That is a fairly succinct metaphor for VR going mainstream.
Pissed indeed; furious even.
Well played.
I was going to make a joke about loony being a synonym for mad, but my palm is halfway to my occipital lobe and I’m losing brain function.
I remember way back when convertible tablet PCs were still a supremely niche product, Fujitsu was always top marks; unfortunately they were also over-the-top dollar, maybe even more than Vaio. I’d love to see what the three companies could do together but am worried about Vaio and Fujitsu bringing their massive brand…
I’m so excited about this, really hoping it works. Anyone know if there’s anyplace I can follow this more closely?
Nah, but you or anyone else not knowing that isn’t a problem. The problem is that Gawker Media has 45 million dollars in revenue, owns a site dedicated to auto enthusiasts, and ultimately no excuse for letting this or any of the other many many oversights in their other articles get to the front page. I can’t decide…
I’m going to check that site out, thanks.
I think you got it right, I had always understood it to be more about the sound, less so consonant vs vowel.
I can’t tell which I find more irritating between the three issues desperately grappling for my disdain. Is it the fact that Gizmodo ran an article about the auto industry like this instead of Jalopnik that bothers me? Maybe it was the unapologetic contempt for the subject matter of the article. I’m pretty sure,…
