Sorry but, around here it didn't launch at 3am est. Like I said it didn't launch all at the same time, cause of the thing called "time zone". And also individual chain games stores, can make their own decision of launch/sale time.

The absolute point here is that, D3 had a open beta, they SHOULD be able to anticipate the amount of connects and bandwith required for launch day.

Well here's the thing, they don't have only one server or one gateway. And the game isn't out everywhere in the world at the same time, so at most I would say there would be max of 40k ppl connecting to 1 server, at any given time during the launch phase(not everyone would do midnight launches).

Ha yeah, there's a lot of old chinese and hong kong movies, where the female character is shown to be an cannibal and eating unholy things...such as a fetus. Some of them gave me nightmare D:
