Seriously? The U.S. has a opt-in voting policy, which already allows for people who don’t want to vote to not vote. Why go through such extremes like Arizona, and all the other places pursuing evil, in order to leave out people who want to vote and make the effort? Oh, right. Elitist narcissistic peen waving. Check.

Maybe in California that house would be $1.2 mil. In Midwest or Heartland, not so much. I’m living in a 3800 sq.ft. suburbian house in the Kansas City area. We bought our house for $260k, and it’s worth $300k market price.

In the early 90's, I drove my parents’ 1973 Chevy Chevelle, baby blue, V8, very sticky carburator that froze shut within heartbeats in cold weather. I could fit my entire dorm room of stuff in that car and still have room to sit and drive.

Because that would take the All-Star date away from Texas, the All-Star being the cash prize race.

So many errors, so little desire to explain them to people who refuse to listen. So I’ll settle for this—There’s more than enough money, time, and people to do Covid-19 mitigation, rename the post offices, AND choose to combat racism by removing a set of minor books that are no longer relevant to the culture.

Cottage cheese goes in a lot of things. Glop = vegetarian beans, cottage cheese, saurkraut. Goop = spaghetti-o’s, cottage cheese, saurkraut. Chili glop--vegetarian chili with cottage cheese and oyster crackers.

Having ridden in both the Soul and the Niro, my experience says the Niro is a better size. The seats aren’t low, esp. in the back, and they’re roomy. We can put 4 large adults and a under-10 in the Niro and still be comfortable. The Soul can do something similar, but not as comfortable. Also, since the battery in the

I will third the Kia Niro gas/electric hybrid. We live in 4 seasons weather, and our 2018 Niro usually gets 45-50 mph. Also, inside is functionally larger than the Sorento, it’s a hatchback with foldable back seats, and my 6'1" husband doesn’t have to put the seat back all the way to drive. Highly recommended.

That little thing is ADORABLE! 🥰😍🤩

I’ll buy one.

Circus Peanuts are my guilty pleasure. I hate banana flavored anything except banana bread and circus peanuts. I hunt down alternate chicks and eggs during the Easter season. I can down a bag very quickly, which is Not. Good. for a diabetic. I went through a 2 lb. bag of circus peanuts in about a week. So, yah...

This post isn’t complete without Whitney Avalon.

I read Winter’s Orbit yesterday. It’s an adorable queer diplomacy novel with side of a razor-sharp backstory. Good stuff.

Policy wonks are a good thing in government. Someone’s gotta do it, and it might as well be people who enjoy that level of policy making.

Aromatherapy helps with anxiety and other such disorders. Different aromas have different effects on people. So it’s not about need. It’s about helpfulness, esp. in this day and age when way too many people are essentially trapped at home. Different scents help out with  mental health.

Meh. In Missouri, it was more “Not Claire McCaskill” than “Yes Josh Hawley”. Still a stupid reason, still maddening, and still ridiculous. But I voted for McCaskill. So not all Missourians?

The Republican party is in a race to the bottom.

This series is on my Buy on Sight list. How did I miss the new release?!
