Don’t let a Hufflepuff hear you saying such a thing.

Possoms have really skinny rat tails, all white faces, a thin snout,

That’s not a possum. That’s a badger.

The baby was premature.

TBH, I thought I was going to hate/dislike the stage racing. I was surprised at how much stage racing punched up the tension. Drivers actually race in the middle of the race now instead of sliding back to stay out of the wrecks. It’s hilarious to me to see Truex Jr. with all those playoff points, and seeing Jimmie

About the only thing that transfers between xFinity and Cup cars is the experience on the track, knowing where the bumps and smooth spots are, which groove works the best, and so on. Each series’ cars are different enough that settings don’t really apply across that divide.

Um, NO. Thank the gods someone at NASCAR figured out that fans are fleeing the xFinity series because far too many of the Cup drivers have been hovering up wins, stage wins, and top ten bonus points. Every time a Cup driver gets in a race, that’s fewer regular season and playoff points available. It’s BORING to watch

I read that as “Orange is the New Dick” and thought, hmmm... that’s appropriate. Obvious, but... ohhh.... oops.

Late last December, we had an orange kitty waltz into our house and take over like he belonged. Had to have been someone’s pet because he was too well behaved. But no chip, no FIV, meant no balls and a new home. He had a broken canine, so we got that out of him. He’s now spending his days dodging the kidlet and riling

As one of those DDDs, but with a short torso, I have to plead to find shirts that are long enough in the front to wear without showing off my stomach fat. The designers don’t take either side into account when designing.

And look! The sun is still slightly above the horizon as the bricks get kissed! (Or maybe not.)

See if you can catch a repeat of the ‘17 Eldora truck race. Christopher Bell drove old-school taking his battered truck through the race. He’s definitely an up and coming name. Also, William Byron. This kid set the CWTS on fire last year, 6 wins, including beating some of the Cup ringers, and this year, he’s doing a

I’m not a Kenseth fan. I don’t disagree that he’s a highly talented driver, though.

It took Kyle Larson 99 tries to get his first win. Chase has a bit to go before starting to worry about him.

Agreed with Bubba aceing his interview. But Bowman aced his interview, too, last year. It’s really frustrating as a fan to see more talent than car seats. But it’s all about the sponsor-dollars.

What else the title doesn’t show is that Alex Bowman was working full time for Hendrick as a simulator for cars plus running track tests. He has had plenty of seat time in the last year and a half; it just hasn’t been in a race. So being worried about him not competing full time isn’t really a worry. Plus, the season

Oh, yah, that wouldn’t be a total change to the NASCAR rules and create a huge amount of bitching and screaming from fans and drivers. /s

Again, that’s what they used to do. Fans and drivers wanted something more exciting, more challenging, more in the hands of the drivers than officials. That’s why a lot of the rule changes have happened, why GWC/overtime line happened, why the Chase/Playoffs happened. A lot of these rules are responsive to fans AND

It’s hard not to get a weird feeling in your stomach when you watch a caution take as long as it did at the Daytona Xfinity Series race to come out, especially when there was a specific line the field had to pass to end the race. Having a concretely placed line actually made things murkier, since that allows

They used to do that, run the length and that’s that. Fans and drivers hated ending the race under yellow after multiple laps at the end of the race that didn’t actually have a race to the finish. Green-White-Checker and the Overtime Line rules are attempts to end the race under racing conditions. All three systems
