No wrecks at Talladega would mean a perfect race. Only one average Big One is a good race. YMMV.

Talladega was generous this year. Only one Big One, only 16 cars, and a good number of cars without damage. Add a first time winner, and overall, very good race.

At Talladega, bumping is wrecking.

Ship lathe, for the love of all the ocean gods, ship LATHE!

And Miller. Don’t forget Miller in the trifecta of ugh.

Sadly, I suspect that access to guns or not, this crime would have happened. The shooter would just be referred to as the stabber.

*bitter, twisted, angry smirk* Pretty much what I thought. Bitter, bitter humor.

Cars are depreciating luxury items, not appreciating necessities. Treat them with due concern.

I am all too familiar with the increased mass gambit. It’s one of the reasons that my husband’s threat of 50 van kitties terrifies me.

Feline paralysis is a thing in our house, too. Usually means it’s our 14 year old black kitty snuggled up against my leg, or the van kitty how insists on lying on us when we’re in bed. That van kitty knows how to lump!

Nope. Last week was punches on pit road after the race. This week was cars under yellow on the track. Different things, definitely.

I hope our watchers like saggy tits and old man balls. We’re nudists in this household.

Nawh. Logano got forced by Busch to drive in deep, and the car didn’t stick. Car washed up the bank, wiggled, and tagged Busch in the numbers. Hard, aggressive racing added to physics. Busch got dumped, but not on purpose. He had no reason to go punch Logano. Both at fault, pretty close to equally.

Imagine that. Kyle Busch blowing up about something that he was equally culpable in. Shock. Amazement. /sarcasm

Except in missionary with a male spouse for the purpose of procreation...

Well, that’s a quick way to stop the Crank It Up! segments of the race. Don’t mess with my Crank It Up! sessions. *glare*

That’s what ear protection is for. Watch when the camera pans through the audience, and you’ll see lots of kids wearing ear protection, even the kids of the drivers standing there during the anthem. And there’s still plenty to hear, even through the ear protection.
