I 100% agree. My mom is a teacher, and although she’s a great shot, she shouldn’t be expected to wield a gun at work! Not to mention against someone with an assault rifle. If teachers are given guns, I will pack up and move out of the country immediately. Immediately. Because all common sense will be gone from society.

Why is there not a do*che emoji? I demand to be able to reply to an eggplant with as little effort as possible.

I can ride with you for Ramen noodles, and Kool-Aid is delicious. Both are also very versatile, and delightfully satisfying. But I can’t forgive you for Steak-umms. My parents bought those when I was a kid. I liked them at first. But when I saw a gray piece of Steak-umms out the box, I noped them ever since.

Thank you for admitting this, and for your comment. I want to hug you. Please share with your friends, family and coworkers. A small drop can create a big ripple.

YES. It’s the #1 reason why I won’t join my parent’s church. It’s a beautiful, awesome church. But at the beginning of each service, they ask the men to come to the front for a blessing of support for leading their homes and offices. Seriously. So why would I put myself in a position voluntarily to hear this

This is perfect :)

Great article. A recent example of the disparity in the women’s movement is Michelle Williams and Monique. When Michelle Williams’ pay disparity made news (vs. Mark Walhberg), woman after woman jumped in and asked why. But when Monique uncovered that her Netflix offer was significantly less than Amy Schumer’s,

I came to mention Jameela Jamil’s interview — love how she said that consent is the bare minimum when it comes to having sex. That men should expect women to actually ENJOY it, and aim for that. Not “do you want to” but “what do you like”. Yaass...

I actually thought this was a great interview, and refreshing. I like that she’s talking about wealth, and how that’s the true power. I don’t care about titles or how big my team is. Pay me. Incentivize me. Women and people of color gaining wealth is the one thing that can upend how society operates.

How does Senator Booker carry on? I’d never want to get out of bed. The world doesn’t deserve him.

Poor little innocent interviewer, asking Sharon Stone that question. He probably drinks milk and eats baloney and cheese sandwiches on Wonder Bread. And says “Golly” and hates himself for swearing. I’m sure he gets lightheaded when he passes by Victoria’s Secret. And gets excited over a sexy night of Scrabble and

I’m all the way here for Halle Berry. When I first saw her pic on Google, I wondered why they were showing a pic from 10-15 years ago. Yaaaas, girl.

I’ve gotten caught on lunches or drinks that turned into “dates” to the male work colleague involved — always older than me by at least a decade. But I’d bolt, I wouldn’t stick around. No excuse for Aziz’s sleaze, but she had to have known. If not, then the first time he stuck his nasty fingers in her mouth, she had

Seriously, who cares about men who don’t want to take responsibility for themselves? A male celebrity on Instagram whom I looove posted a backasswards post about how it’s a man job to find a queen, and it’s a woman’s job to keep him focused. And a girl posted how it’s her mission to find a man, stay loyal, and pray

I love your comment. Leave it to Hollywood to brand and get PR out of it while not actually achieving change. Times Up was their chance to wear pretty black dresses, write inspiring Instagram posts, and look all concerned in interviews. Oh brother. I applaud Reese’s production company, and how Oprah hired women in top

But how many decades/generations have we been protesting? And is protesting in today’s world even effective? That’s what we need to be honest about. How effective was Kaepernick’s protest? He got a magazine cover, and an award. “There you go, black people, are you happy now?” But people actually lost track of the

I actually appreciate your comments, as a woman who has worked in Corp America among men for a long time. There is 100% a white male institutional power structure in this country that needs to be directly addressed.

Great article! I’m around the same age, and have had trouble finding a relationship with a guy that actually wants to have a relationship.

Agreed...something about this whole thing screams “misguided” and “PR move”, and not something that will actually make a real difference in this country’s power structure.

There are a lot of good points here. Women still have to be careful. However, when a woman isn’t careful, it’s not right for a man to take advantage. At the end of the day, I try to be careful. And when I’m not and end up in a bad situation, I just do my best to get out of it. I know Karate and other martial arts to
